As the Admiral of the Royal Navy and Member of Parliament of the United Kingdom said so well Philip charles durham (1763-1845) said so well:
When the demons want to produce the darkest crimes, they first present them under a celestial exterior.
Slightly rosy amber.
Nose:
Grilled malt delicately smoked. Sherry spike with red fruits and grapes.
Taste:
Vanilla, caramel and berries. Spices on fire of the cask strength. Beautiful sherry influence.
Finish:
Long, spicy and warm on red and black licorice accents. Red fruits and leather smoke.
Balance:
A good dram, especially at this alcohol level. Devilishly good, but not divine.
